My biggest point of emphasis was the lens flare in between the two towers. The towers are so dark due to the strokes of the blend I used the whole area in between them sticks out due to its shade being lighter. site your eye is attracted to this lighter area, you see how the shape of the lens flare created and blurry edge in the values of surrounding lines. Then a smaller reflection of that flare is down lower on the page creation second focal point.
This line only design uses many blends and and only the outline of some shapes to provide the key elements for a successful design. In my blends I purposefully darkened certain areas by creating lines with more stroke. Not only does this show depth, but many dark spots throughout the space allows for movement from top to bottom. Secondly, my focal point flare has a reflection down lower in the page that makes your eye move from top to bottom.
