Creates by Milton Glaser in 1969, his work The Beatles is another tribute to music group, similar to what he did with Bob Dylan. This interests me in how into the pop culture many designers are and have to be to stay relevant. Again, Glaser uses bright  warm colors in the background, in contrast to the cool colored subjects. The mood of this peace is fun due to the colorful musicians, however they have serious and focused facial expressions.
Milton Glaser created this in 1966 as a type of homage to Bob Dylan. This design uses the combination of a simple white background in contrast to the black profile. However, all of this is secondary to the crazy colorful hair. The movement of the hair draws your eye to a different place all the time. This mood is very playful and fun with the hair, although the expression of Dylans face is very solemn. Its interesting to see different moods in the design.
Milton Glaser designed this in 1977. The thing I like most about this piece is its simplicity and more importantly it's icon. This one design has become an international icon. Anyone who has traveled to NYC as a tourist, including myself, has one of these shirts, hats ect... This logo is, and has been the symbol for NY tourism and NYC itself. Many other brands have taken this original image and made it with their logo. An example of this is vineyard vines who has a style of shirt that says I (whale) something. It blows me away that such a simple design could become an icon.
